Trulowe Talent Management takes your privacy very seriously and is committed to respecting and protecting your personal information.  In line with the new data regulations we aim to be clear about the information we have, why we need it, how we use it, how we keep it safe and to set out your rights.

The information you give us is used to help deliver the best possible service to you and you can update your preferences on how we contact you at any time.

We will only use your data in a way in which you would reasonably expect with minimal impact on your privacy and will publish any updates to our privacy policy on our web page.

We are a talent agency. People use our services to find and be found for work opportunities. Our privacy policy applies to everyone

Why we collect information

We need to collect and process some of your personal data to carry out job seeking on your behalf and fulfil our obligation as an agent.

How we collect information

We collect information from you when it is agreed that we will represent you.

Sensitive Information: We may also collect details, with your explicit consent, if you have any allergies or disabilities or medical conditions that may need to be taken into consideration.

Do we need a lawful basis to collect and process your personal data?

Yes. All companies must have a legitimate reason for collecting and processing your data. GDPR refers to this as the “lawful basis for processing” and sets out six different types of lawful basis. In our case, the main lawful bases allowing us to collect and process your data are ‘contractual’ and ‘legitimate interest.’

Who has access to the personal data that we hold?

Only authorised staff have access to your data. Our computer network is password protected and secured using role based permissions, which means only staff with the correct authorisation can view and process client data.

Sharing of your personal Information

We share the professional identities of our managed talent with potential casting directors, production companies, ad agencies etc. 

We might also have to share your information if we have to by law or where we need to protect you or other people from harm.

How you can change or access the information we hold about you.

In accordance with the new GDPR It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed when your personal information changes during your relationship with Trulowe Talent Management

You can help keep our records up to date by telling us when your contact details and other personal information changes, and if you change your mind about how we contact you.

How long do we keep it

We will only keep your personal information in accordance with data protection law for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of, deleted or cached in a secure manner.

How we protect it

We are committed to keeping your personal information secure. We take appropriate technical and other organisational measures to ensure security of all the personal information we hold about you. 

Young People

We are especially committed to protecting the privacy of any young people that engage with or participate in our work. If you are under 16, please ensure that you obtain your parent/guardian’s consent before and whenever you provide personal information.
